Asheville Area Arts Council in Asheville, NC, Features New Works by Richard Olsen

The Asheville Area Arts Council's Front Gallery in downtown Asheville, NC, will host an exhibition of paintings by well-known local artist Richard Olsen during the month of Oct.

Olsen, a self-taught painter, has become a local favorite in Asheville's art world. His paintings are well-known for their bright color palette that invokes the human spirit. The content reveals the human experience within the modern landscape. His compositions are often broken into various panels that melt and merge into one another.

"It is like experiencing the indigenous soul and village still here, though buried, behind the facade of modern life," says Olsen.
