Waterworks Visual Arts Center in Salisbury, NC, Features Works by Emily Weinstein

A new exhibition featuring the book series paintings of Durham, NC, artist Emily Weinstein will be on view at the Waterworks Visual Arts Center in Salisbury, NC. The exhibition, entitled Moon, Cat, Dog, on view through Oct. 30, 2004, in the Center's Young People's Gallery, will showcase original artwork from her book publications, Moon Book, Dog Book, and Cat Book, the latter two of which recognize amazing and heroic animals and relay their unique tales to the world. In addition to the original paintings, these three books will be on display and available for purchase during the exhibition.

The exhibition is sponsored by Dr. and Mrs. Charles Steinman and the Salisbury Animal Hospital.

Accredited by the American Association of Museums, the Waterworks Visual Arts Center is funded by individual memberships, corporations and businesses, foundations, the City of Salisbury, Rowan County, the North Carolina Arts Council, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
