The Arts Council of Henderson County in Hendersonville, NC, will present the exhibit, Artists of Toe River, an exhibition featuring many of the best artists from Yancey and Mitchell Counties, on view in the D. Samuel Neill Gallery from Oct. 1 - 30, 2010.

The Arts Council of Henderson County and the Toe River Arts Council, representing Mitchell and Yancey Counties, located north of Asheville, NC, at the Tennessee border, will each host an exhibition featuring artists from the other region.

During Apr. 22 through May 14, 2011, The Arts Council of Henderson County will curate a show of Henderson County's finest artists that will be hosted by the Toe River Arts Council at its Burnsville Gallery.

"We are looking forward to this reciprocal relationship with Henderson County artists," said Executive Director Denise Cook of the Toe River Arts Council. "New ideas and creativity are formed when ideas and concepts intersect. We believe this exchange of artwork will work in a similar way."
