Beyond First Glance, an exhibition of paintings by Raleigh, NC, artist Lauren Ivey is scheduled to open in the Semans Gallery of the Durham Arts Council on Jan. 5 and continue through Feb. 5, 2001.

She has also worked as a design assistant at the North Carolina Museum of History, and now works as a full-time artist in her Raleigh studio.
