Waterfront Gallery in Charleston, SC, Features Works by Amelia Rose Smith and J. Michael Kennedy

Waterfront Gallery in Charleston, SC, will host Moods and Reflections, an exhibit of new paintings by Amelia Rose Smith and J. Michael Kennedy from Nov. 2 - 30, 2002.

Amelia Rose Smith's collection includes the vivid pastel and watercolor paintings that so wonderfully represent the Lowcountry landscape and our expansive skies. There are various delicately rendered still life pieces in oil as well as watercolor.

Works by J. Michael Kennedy include various scenes from along the Carolina coast, including many early evening oil paintings capturing the last light of day on our many tidal waterways and marshes. The show includes several architectural paintings as well.

Smith and Kennedy are both known for their dramatic use of color and ability to capture the light and shadow of our coastal environment. Both artists are founding members of Waterfront Gallery and have gained a loyal following throughout the Southeast.
