Art League of Henderson County in Hendersonville, NC, Features Annual Members Exhibition
The 2006 All-Member Show of the Art
League of Henderson County will be on view from Nov. 5 - 30, 2006,
at Opportunity House, in Hendersonville, NC.
This judged show of works in two-dimensional media - drawing,
oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel and collage has been an annual
Fall event for over a decade. This year the categories in
any medium to receive awards are abstract, landscape, Still Life
and/or Floral, People and/or Animals (including Portraits), and
Novice. Artist Richard K. Kaiser is offering a 1st place
cash prize and ribbon awards in the Novice category for beginning
artists who have never sold their work or entered a judged show. Kaiser
is also sponsoring an award for "Best Watercolor in the Show." In
addition to these awards there will be a Judge's Choice Award
for "Best in Show." A special Viewers Choice Award
will be determined by members' ballot. The prize for this
award will be free gallery hanging for one year and a ribbon.
