Gallery C in Raleigh, NC, Offers Annual Holiday Collection

Gallery C in Raleigh, NC, is proud to host the 19th Annual Holiday Collection - a group exhibition featuring glass, ceramics, textiles, scarves, painted furniture, folk art, toys, jewelry, ornaments as well as fine art by the gallery's own stable of nationally renowned artists. The exhibition will be on view through Jan. 6, 2004.

The show has a wide array of art objects from around the world. From India we once again have beautiful hand-painted cabinets from Marakesh. Asian gourd scarecrows right out of the rice paddies will be featured along with reproduction Americana folk balance toys from the 18th Century. Amongst the jewelry offerings this year will be hand-crafted works by Helga Connery of Durham, NC, and Amy Kahn Russell of Connecticut. Both jewelers use semi precious stones, gold and silver in their original one-of-a-kind designs. From large to small and in every medium there is truly something for everyone in this high spirited exhibition. Whether one is looking for gifts or adding to his or her own collection, no one will be able to walk away without something.
