of Beaufort County in Beaufort, SC, Features Exhibit by Resident
Artists
The Arts Council of Beaufort County in Beaufort, SC, will present the exhibit, The Artist Unleashed, featuring works by resident artists in the gallery @ ARTworks, from Dec. 4 through Jan. 15, 2010.
Everyday at ARTworks, twelve artists share studio walls and conversation, take breaks and give critiques, and expand their creativity through a synergy found only in cooperative art settings like ARTworks, a 12,000 square foot community arts center that is also the home of the Arts Council of Beaufort County, SC.
Come join these artists to browse, contemplate, and latch onto their work from the past productive year, with this exhibit presenting works by: painter Carol Kamm, photographer Diana Hoppe, painter Victoria Smalls, visual artist Tyrone Moultrie, sculptor Pat Willcox, mosaic artist Lisa Clancy, metalsmith/jeweler Peggy Carvell, painter Natalie Daise, mixed media artist LaShanta Ase, assemblage artist Hank Herring, watercolorist Jennifer Kassing-Bradley, and videographer Pam Nilsen.
From its office in ARTworks in Beaufort Town Center, the Arts Council of Beaufort County promotes and nurtures the arts 365 a year, and works as an independent, non-profit service organization that is not a function of, or funded by, the Beaufort County government.
