Conn Gallery in Landrum, SC, Features Group Exhibition

The Conn Gallery in Landrum, SC, is offering the exhibition, Is It Spring Yet?, featuring the works of four painters from North and South Carolina and one sculptor from NC. The exhibition begins on Feb. 2 and continues through Mar. 21, 2002.

The five women participating in the exhibition include: Helen Fried of Columbia, SC; Susan Green of Travelers Rest, SC; Joan Stone and Jeanne Parker, both of Tryon, NC; and Fran Welch of Asheville, NC.

Helen Fried will offer large works in oil of abstract scenes and figures presented in a pop-artsy way. The works are fun and colorful. Susan Green will offer watercolor paintings, including still lifes, landscapes and figures - both abstracts and realistic.

Joan Stone presents well rendered watercolor paintings featuring cityscapes, homes and gardens. Jeanne Parker, well known regionally will offer colorful watercolor abstracts for this exhibition, while Fran Welch will present her whimsical sculptures.
