Gallery C in Raleigh, NC, Presents Exhibit by NC Artists

Gallery C in Raleigh, NC, will present the exhibition, The Best of North Carolina, featuring important fine art from the 19th and 20th Century, on view from Feb. 11 through Mar. 16, 2005.

George Charles Aid

This exhibition is an annual exhibit of some of the most important artwork to ever emerge from our state. With works dating from the Civil War to the 1980's, there is a range in styles and medium, all evocative of their own place in time. Artists represented will include George Charles Aid, Sarah Blakeslee, Robert Broderson, Minnie Evans, Henry MacMillan, Louis Orr, Francis Speight, and Will Henry Stevens to name a few. Many of the works in this show are from private collections and have never been shown publicly before now.
