FW Front Gallery at Woolworth Walk in Asheville, NC, Features Works by Carrie Wagner

FW Front Gallery at Woolworth Walk in Asheville, NC, will present the exhibit, Etchings of Africa, featuring photographs by Carrie Wagner, on view from Feb. 2 - 28, 2009.

In the exhibition, Wagner will display her photographs from 15 year old negatives of Uganda, Africa focusing on both people and animals from the area. She took the photos while working for Habitat for Humanity and has said about her time there that "some images remain etched in your heart forever." Wagner has practiced the art of photography for over twenty five years and often teaches classes on her craft. She feels her "true passion is capturing the human spirit as well as the experiences and relationships that enrich our lives."
