Pinckney Café in Charleston, SC, Presents Works by William Thomas Meisburger

Pinckney Café in Charleston, SC, will present an exhibit of etchings by local artist William Thomas Meisburger through Mar. 30. Entitled seth, the exhibit is a collection of new and recent prints. The abstract etchings reflect the artist's reactions to the people and places in the Lowcountry.

Meisburger was reared in Spain, PA, and SC. He received a BA in Fine Arts and a BS in Business Administration from the College of Charleston and a MFA in Printmaking from the Pennsylvania State University. After completing his studies, Meisburger served two years in the United States Peace Corps as an art teacher on St. Kitts in the Eastern Caribbean. He currently teaches art at Rivers Middle School in Charleston. He is also a member of Print Studio South.

Pinckney Café in downtown Charleston, SC, is two blocks north of the historic Market area. Ted Fletcher, owner and chef, seeks to showcase contemporary art in a charming single house restaurant built in the 1800s.
