Karpeles Manuscript Museum in Charleston, SC, Presents Exhibition by Elise Poche

The Karpeles Manuscript Museum in Charleston, SC, will present an art exhibit from Mar. 1 - 31, 2003 entitled, Preface in Full Color, featuring new photographic works by Elise Poche.

Poche says, "I have taken many classes in photography, but like most things in life, we learn better from experimentation, trial and error, and sending yourself on your own assignments. My best teacher has been my life experiences."

"Poche's work shows her excellent eye for composition. All her black and whites are developed in her own darkroom to her exacting standards. She shows outstanding aesthetic taste and judgement in her choice of subject matter." says Jerry Spencer, Director of the Museum.
