Shain Gallery in Charlotte, NC, Offers Works by Connie Winters
Shain Gallery in Charlotte, NC, will present a one-women show of new works by North Carolina artist, Connie Winters. The exhibit will be on view from Mar. 14 - 31, 2008.
Inspired by classic French Impressionists, Winters travels through the French countryside every year. The regions of Provence and Dordogne are her passion, and she has translated the local color and culture into a beautiful collection of new paintings. Winters' exquisite interplay of color and light creates a vibrant sense of place in each of her vibrant landscapes. Her work has earned her national recognition and is found in numerous prominent collections including: the Coca-Cola Collection, John Randolph Hearst, Jr. and the Duke Mansion, Charlotte, NC.
Shain Gallery located in the heart of Myers Park in Charlotte has been on the forefront of the Charlotte art scene, since opening their doors in 1998. The gallery represents many regional and national artists.
