Arts Council of Henderson County in Hendersonville, NC, Present Art by Children

The Arts Council of Henderson County in Hendersonville, NC, will present the exhibit, The Art of Our Children, showcasing the artistic creations of Henderson County children, in the D. Samuel Neill Gallery, on view from Mar. 13 through Apr. 18, 2009.

The Art of Our Children consists of two exhibitions including: Artists of Tomorrow, featuring the work of secondary students, on view from Mar. 13 - 28, and Elementary Art, which showcases art created by students from grades one through five, on view from Apr. 3 - 18, 2009.

The Art of Our Children is dedicated to Henderson County art teachers and the children they mentor, and is sponsored in part by the Times-News.

The Arts Council of Henderson County is a community organization that advocates for the arts and provides opportunities to enrich the lives of children and adults through the arts by offering exhibits, art education and performances. The Arts Council is supported in part by the North Carolina Arts Council, the State of North Carolina, the Community Foundation of Henderson County, Henderson County, and the Henderson County Travel and Tourism Bureau.
