College of Charleston's Halsey Gallery, in Charleston, SC, Shows Student Art

The William Halsey Gallery at the College of Charleston's School of the Arts, in Charleston, SC, will host the annual juried student art exhibition, Young Contemporaries 2001, on view through Apr. 30. This year's juror is Graham Nickson, Dean of the New York Studio School in New York, NY. "Young Contemporaries 2001" is co-sponsored by the Halsey Gallery and the College of Charleston's Visual Arts Club.

Each spring, students at the College who have shown exceptional artistic ability are invited to exhibit in the professional setting of the Halsey Gallery. Young Contemporaries 2001 offers the greater Charleston community a unique opportunity to view work produced by students from throughout the College.
