Davidson College in Davidson, NC, Turns Over Art Galleries for Genetics Exhibition

A new multimedia project from GENECORP has opened to the public in the William H. Van Every, Jr. Gallery in Davidson College's Belk Visual Arts Center in Davidson, NC. The exhibition will remain on view through Apr. 21, 2002.

GENECORP leads the industry in developing genetically improved species of fish and other aquatic animals, even humans. By incorporating state of the art techniques such as cloning, transgenics and genetic mutation, they are creating a more positive future for all of mankind.

This public presentation will feature detailed schematics of current GENECORP projects as well a full-scale diorama of the Pack-Hunting Catfish. Viewers will also be able to observe the Aqua Sapien, GENECORP's experimental solution to the current problem of overpopulation and human destruction of our fragile terrestrial ecosystems.

For additional information and images of current projects, please visit their website at (www.genecorp2000.com).

GENECORP's Director of Public Relations, Kimberley Richards, was in attendance during the exhibitions opening handing out and collecting free DNA sampling kits to and from viewers who wanted to make donations for GENECORP's genetic mutations research.
