Print Studio South in Charleston, SC, Presents a 10th Anniversary Exhibition

In Charleston, SC an exhibition spotlighting the quality and breadth of Print Studio South's archive of fine art prints will be on view Apr. 1-30, 2002, as PSS presents their 10th Anniversary Exhibition, Print Studio South, 1992-2002, a Retrospective.

Print Studio South, 1992-2002, a Retrospective presents a cross section of prints representing a decade of archiving print work produced at the PSS printmaking studio. Included are etchings, relief and silkscreen prints, monoprints and lithographs by locally and nationally recognized artists. Print Studio South celebrates its tenth year of existence in Apr. 2002. The exhibition pays tribute to the artists and community supporting PSS in its mission to provide a professional printmaking studio for artists working in print medium and to educate artists and the public about fine art prints and printmaking techniques.

A special preview of PSS' new 2002 10th Anniversary Portfolio Presentation, New Views of the Lowcountry, will be presented at the 10th Anniversary Open House on Apr. 26, 2002. The portfolio is a fundraising project of the studio and is for sale to the public to benefit PSS programming.The purchase price is $350 and includes up to 12 fine art prints by South Carolina artists in all print mediums including photography. PSS welcomes the public to attend the reception celebrating our anniversary and the preview of the 10th Anniversary Portfolio.

The 10th Anniversary Portfolio Presentation, New Views of the Lowcountry, will be on view May 1-31, 2002.
