The Arts Center in Hendersonville, NC, Features Group Exhibition

The Arts Center in Hendersonville, NC, will present the exhibition, Serendipity, featuring works of art by a variety of artists from throughout the country in vasious media. The exhibit will take place from Apr. 1 - 30, 2005.

The Arts Center exhibit chairs, Marilyn Bailey and Janet Jacobson, put together this show on a moment's notice in replacement for a previously planned exhibition, which could not take place.

The participating nationally recognized artists include: Tom Davin and Mary Kesler, from Rhode Island, will present works in wood, both functional and decorative. Chris Kamm, from Asheville, NC, will be showing wooden jewelry boxes. Anne Elliot, from Massachusetts, will be offering decorative ceramics.

Candone Wharton, from Florida will present ceramic and Raku works, both decorative and functional. Marilyn Bailey, from Hendersonville, offers gold and silver jewelry. Ben Dyer, from Raleigh, NC, will show jewelry of forged gold.

Keith Cerasoli, from California, will offer unique wine glasses. Cynthia Wilson, from Hendersonville, will be showing paintings. Victoria Varga, from Maine, will be showing silver inlaid jewelry. Jennifer Hastings will be exhibiting works in mixed media.

Patricia Cole and Don Ferullo, from Tryon, NC, will both offer paintings. Constanza Knight will also offer paintings. Renee Skelly, from Greensboro, NC, will be showing baskets. Bill Hickman, from Raleigh, NC, will be offering steel sculpture.

Page Davis, from Tryon, NC, will be showing paintings. Keith Spensor, from South Carolina, will be offering paintings. Carol Bommer, from Asheville, NC, will also offer paintings, and Stuart Roper, also from Asheville will present paintings.

Works by some of these artists have never been seen at The Arts Center before and other works by other artists will be added to the exhibit.
