Vista Studios in Columbia, SC, will present Edge of Imagination: An Exhibition of New Work from the Artists of Vista Studios, on view from Apr. 25 through May 8, 2013. A reception will be held on Apr. 25, from 5-9pm, during the Artista Vista celebration.

This event provides a unique opportunity to visit with 13 resident artists in their studios as well as view their new collection of work. The participating artists are Ethel Brody, Stephen Chesley, Heidi Darr-Hope, Jeff Donovan, Pat Gilmartin, Robert Kennedy, Susan Lenz, Sharon Licata, Laurie McIntosh, Michel McNinch, Kirkland Smith, Laura Spong, and David Yaghijan.

Vista Studios provides studio space to 13 artists and gallery space to community artists. An early project in revitalization efforts of the Congaree Vista, Vista Studios began as a joint venture of the Columbia Development Corporation and the South Carolina Arts Commission. It has matured along with the Vista into a unique and needed outlet for Columbia’s visual arts.

Gallery 80808 in the Vista Studios may be leased from the Vista Studios group for the purpose of displaying art. We are pleased to be able to offer this facility at a reasonable rate and to provide fellow artists with a quality area in which to display and sell their artwork. You must schedule your show through Louise Shirley of Molten/Lamar Architects, owners of the building by calling 803/771-7008.

For further information check our SC Commercial Gallery listings, call the Studios at 803/252-6143 or visit (www.vistastudios80808.com).
