City Art Gallery in Columbia, SC, Features USC Photography Exhibit

City Art Gallery in Columbia, SC, will present Montage, the 2014 Photography BFA Junior Exhibition which will feature the work of students enrolled in the Department of Art’s photography exhibition course: ARTS 461, on view from Apr. 2 - 7, 2014. A reception will be held on Apr. 7, from 5-7pm.

Each spring, as part of the USC Photography Program’s curriculum, students create a series of images and collaboratively organize a group exhibition held at City Art Gallery in the Vista. This experience provides them with the opportunity to display their work in a gallery setting and introduces them to the aspects of fine art gallery and exhibition work beyond the scope of the classroom. Their photographic work is varied and reflects the wide array of interests and aesthetics that shape their work.

The exhibiting student artists include: Joe Abuelo, Lyndsay Carroll, Carl Craighead, Megan Dunbar, Patrick Francis, Nicholas Johnston, Subhro Kar, Kathryn Roberts, Christina Smith, and LC Woodall.
