Bill Gramley

After 35 years as a minister in the Moravian Church, Bill Gramley returned to his love of drawing. John Sagartz

John Sagartz, a retired veterinarian, began serious art studies in 1992 and has found his preferred media to be pastels and oils. From 1995 to 1999, he and his wife, Christina, also an artist, lived and painted in Italy. Sagartz is an exhibiting member of Associated Artists of Winston-Salem and a member of American Artists Professional League, Southeastern Pastel Society and Upstate Visual Arts in Greenville, SC. He has exhibited at 72nd Grand National Exhibition of American Artists Professional League in NYC, Piccolo Spoleto Festival 2000 in Charleston, SC, Raleigh Fine Arts Society 22nd Annual Exhibition and has won many awards from juried shows. His work is best described as representational and impressionistic. Italian scenes are frequent motifs, as well as other landscapes.

Ann Wilkinson studied botany at Duke University and graduated Magna Cum Laude, but she returned to school to concentrate on art and received an MFA from UNC-Greensboro. She has exhibited at Elan College, Greensboro Chamber of Commerce, The Gallery, Chagrin Falls OH, Green Hill Center, and Weatherspoon Gallery. Wilkinson's oil paintings are luminous depictions of quiet interiors and graceful landscapes. She expresses the light and colors of a moment in time and also embraces an impressionistic style.
