Lake Norman Art League in Mooresville, NC, Presents Spring Members Show

The Lake Norman Art League's Spring Members Show will be on view through May 19, 2006, at the Lowe's YMCA, 170 Joe V. Knox Ave, Mooresville, NC.

The show will be judged by Missie Dickins who studied art at Le Studio de Madam Chabanier and L'Universite' de Paul Valery in Montpellier, France and at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. A portion of art sales (20%) will be donated to the Lowe's YMCA.

Also on view will be works by participants of LKN Art League's "Boats of Lake Norman" poster competition - an exhibit of boating scenes from our beautiful lake community. Artwork was chosen by juror Christa Faut owner of Christa Faut Gallery in Cornelius, NC. All nine artists will be represented on an exclusive poster and limited edition print available for purchase.

The Lake Norman Art League is a non-profit adult arts organization dedicated to promoting the visual arts experience and fostering emerging artists through community exposure, net working, education and interaction with fellow artists. LKN Art League also offers opportunities for regional artists and art enthusiasts, by providing monthly lecture series.
