Art Shack Gallery in Columbia, SC, Features Works by Members of Rosewood Arts Guild
The Art Shack Gallery in Columbia, SC, will present an exhibit of works by members of The Rosewood Arts Guild (RAG), on view through May 12, 2007, in Association with Columbia Festival of the Arts.
Participating artists include: Sylvia Ady-Potts (pottery, printmaking); Paula Bowers (painting); Richard Glover (photography); Sandra Carr (sculpture); Melissa Crook (lampwork glass); Coy Durham (painting); Lani Mustard Stringer (painting); Nick Oleszizuk (painting); Sue Shrader (fused glass); Sylvia Small (dolls); Gay Vogt (weaving); Richard Vogt (baskets, lampwork glass); Evelyn Wong (beadwork, painting); and Jeff Weese (painting).
RAG was organized in the Spring of 2006 to promote and support local arts and artists and to foster a creative dialogue among artists and the community; for more information visit (www.rosewoodartsguild.org).
The Art Shack Gallery, opened in 2005 by Paula Bowers, is one of several Columbia area galleries featuring local artists, and offers classes in painting and other venues.
