The Artist Guild Gallery of Greenville in Greenville, SC, Features Works by Bob Santanello

The Artist Guild Gallery of Greenville in downtown Greenville, SC, is proud to present Bob Santanello's paintings and wood carvings one man show, on view from May 2 - 30, 2008.

Santanello grew up in Northwestern Pennsylvania where he first developed his love for the outdoors. He moved his family to South Carolina in 1976. His passion for the outdoors has continued and is the inspiration for his paintings and also his wood carvings.

Santanello paints in oils and acrylics to portray beautiful realistic landscapes. His wood carvings are also in the realistic feel, all hand carved and painted to bring out the animal's color and shape, with a little personality. But as Santanello believes, "Mother Nature" has created his special subjects to only recreate for his public.

The Artists Guild Gallery of Greenville is a co-operative gallery located in the heart of Greenville. Over twenty five local artists are represented in the gallery along with various mediums including acrylic, mixed media, oil and watercolor paintings, jewelry, glass, woodwork and sculpture. One or more of the artists is in the gallery at all times, demonstrating throughout the day and always ready to discuss their art with visitors.
