Coastal Discovery Museum on Hilton
Head Island, SC, Features Photography Exhibit
The Coastal Discovery Museum on Hilton Head Island, SC, is presenting the exhibit, Low Country and Other Views, featuring works by members of the Sun City Photography Club, on view in the Museum's Jarvis Room through July 12, 2008.
Many of the works on view will be available for sale, as well as matted images and note cards in the gift shop at the Museum.
A series of "Gallery Talks" on various aspects of photography will be offered during the show on Saturdays at 11am in the Jarvis Room. The talks are presented by members of the Sun City Photography Club and are free and open to the public. No reservations are required.
Scheduled dates and subjects are as follows: May 3 - "Creating Slide Show & Audio Presentations," by John Samsen; May 17 - "Basics of Photo Composition," by Corky Burt; May 31 - "Digital Camera Settings," by Rich deAsla; June 14 - "Adobe Photoshop Capabilities," by Bob Zier; and June 28 - "Creative Printing Options," by Ray Fausel.
