COCO VIVO in Charleston, SC, Features Works by John Caggiano

COCO VIVO Art for Living in Charleston, SC, will present Caggiano: From Charleston to Nantucket, featuring a collection of oil paintings by plein air artist John Caggiano of New England, on view from May 3 - 31, 2013. A reception will be held on May 3, from 5-8pm.

Caggiano states, “I have traveled extensively in the States and abroad. I paint wherever I go. Thinking about where I have been, uppermost in my memories are the attractive places and painting subjects that I have seen. They are ones that make me stop in my tracks. They are usually very old and nostalgic, full of living history; unspoiled. Sometimes, if I am lucky, they take my breath away. Such are the many places that I have painted. Charleston and points north and east to Europe have all offered such subject matter. Some of them are in this exhibition. I hope that you enjoy them.”
