The Asheville Gallery of Art in Asheville, NC, will feature Cathy Searle as June's Artist of the Month. Searle's paintings are distinguished by their unique interpretation of line, shape and color. It's obvious when viewing this exhibition, Evolution, that she is having a great time with the "evolution" and exploration into the more sculptural forms found in her latest paintings.
Design and a sophisticated palette are sought in each piece of Searle's, but the movement and rhythms that have been a signature throughout her body of work, has not been lost.
