Gallery 9 in Foscoe, NC, is presenting works by Ford Smith for the first time from July 1 through Oct. 1, 2002.
Just two years ago, Smith showed his first paintings in a small gallery in Georgia. Since then, he has sold well over 100 original paintings in a very select group of respected galleries nationwide. His distinctive works are studies in control and spontaneity that have a mesmerizing resonance with both art professionals and the art buying public. The quality of his work has surpassed the typical expectations of most galleries making him one of the most sought-after artists of contemporary art today.
Smith epitomizes the "emerging artist" on an upswing that knows no boundaries. Gallery 9 could not be more pleased or more proud to present the work of this great artist.
