Art Nouveau Gallery in Myrtle Beach, SC, Offers Exhibit for Cancer Treatment

Art Nouveau Gallery & the American Cancer Society will present A Tribute To Women, art show and benefit for women going through cancer treatment programs. The exhibit will take place at the Ocean Dunes Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC, on July 8 & 9, 2008.

We in the artist community have friends and family members that are cancer survivors or are going through cancer treatment. For many, their art is their only escape and respite from the rigors of chemo and radiation treatment during the long recovery process. We admire those that have shown so much dignity and character during their illness and have been an inspiration to those whose' lives they touch. It is those present and past that we honor with this event.

The show will feature international, national, regional and local artists whose art will be available for sale. Mediums represented will include: watercolor, oil, acrylics, mixed media, 3D and photography. There will be many new pieces on display that were created for this event to honor women. Show your support and join us for a night of fun.

The show opens on July 8, from 6 - 10pm  by ticket only ($25). The event includes a silent auction, chance drawings, food and more. On July 9, from noon to 8pm, music by Sugar & Spice and the Tim Allen's Blues Time will be offered. Ocean Dunes Resort is located at 201 75th Ave N. in Myrtle Beach.
