Arts Center in Hendersonville, NC, Features Juried Exhibit Focused on Natural Landscape

The Arts Center in Hendersonville, NC, opens its third annual juried show entitled, The Natural Landscape, which will be on view from Aug. 2 through Sept. 28, 2002.

The natural landscape has always been a compelling source of inspiration for visual artists. Whether it is a cascading waterfall or the peace of a lush meadow or the immensity of a mountain vista, the depth and range of Mother Nature's moods never fails to intrigue both artist and viewer alike.

This juried show will celebrate the beauty and diversity of our environment. The exhibition received entries from as far away as New York City, but the approximately 200 entries hailed mainly from the western and piedmont part of North Carolina and the upstate of South Carolina. About 70 pieces of work, two and three dimensional, were selected for the exhibit. All work is for sale.
