Art League of Henderson County in Hendersonville, NC, Features Works by the Connestee Art League
The Art League of Henderson County will present an exhibit entitled, The Spirit of Connestee, featuring a themed show of works by forty members of the Connestee Falls Art League. The exhibit will be on view from Aug. 4 through Sept. 8, 2006 in the Grace Etheredge Room at Opportunity House in Hendersonville, NC.
The members of the Connestee Falls Art League have varied styles and use numerous media. The works exhibit a range from novice to over 35 years of experience. Several members teach workshops and do demonstrations. The League holds an annual judged show and many of the members have won awards.
Connestee Falls Art League works are shown in several galleries in the area, including K A Blooms in Asheville, NC, Two Friends and Gallery 7 in Brevard. NC, and Sylvia Campbell Gallery in Hendersonville.
