Art Nouveau Gallery and Studio in Myrtle Beach, SC, Offers Works by Jim Horton and Mark Lovett

Art Nouveau Gallery and Studio in Myrtle Beach, SC, will present an exhibition of works by Jim Horton and Mark Lovett, on view from Aug. 9 - 31, 2007. Horton will offer paintings in oil of Mediterranean scenes and Lovett will over numbered giclee prints from the body of his work.

Jim Horton, an artist and native of North Carolina, works in a Romantic Modern Realistic Style with theatrical quality. His work is bold with direct statements, playing strong contrast between darks and lights, giving close attention to lighting and the effects of lighting. Horton's palette in painting is a full range of brilliant colors. Inspiration for many of his works were influenced by his European travels. Horton has paintings and sculpture in private and corporate collections throughout the United States, Canada and Europe.

Mark Lovett, a native of Maryland, is an accomplished award winning oil painter exploring new territory and breaking new ground. His paintings are truly his own unique expression and vision. Lovett paints what he loves most in life with the hopes of enriching other's lives through his work.

Art Nouveau Gallery and Studio, which recently opened for business in the Galleria Shopping Center in Myrtle Beach will also offer daily painting classes and weekend painting workshops.
