Jerald Melberg Gallery in Charlotte, NC, Offers Works by Linden Frederick & Others
Jerald Melberg Gallery in Charlotte, NC, is presenting two exhibits including, Linden Frederick American Scenes and Scene in America: An Invitational Landscape Exhibition, both on view through Sept. 5, 2009.
American Scenes focuses on New York native Linden Frederick's small-scale paintings that pay homage to humble American scenes and find beauty and intrigue in the banal. Frederick is a virtuoso painter with the ability to capture the subtle, and sometimes mysterious, effects of light, often at dusk and at night. Frederick, who currently resides in Belfast, Maine, studied at Ontario College of Art in Toronto, as well as the Academy of Fine Art in Florence, Italy.
