Shain Gallery in Charlotte, NC, Features Works by Josh Brown

Shain Gallery in Charlotte, NC, will present Solo Show, a collection of new work by gallery represented artist Josh Brown, on view from Aug. 2 - 16, 2013. A reception will be held on Aug. 2, from 6 -8:30pm.

Josh Brown is a graduate of Myers Park High School, in Charlotte and a talented emerging young artist. He is a student-athlete at the Savannah College of Art and Design. He is majoring in Industrial Design and is the starting Goalkeeper for the SCAD Bees soccer team.

When not engaged in studying or athletics, Brown spends his time painting, creating large works in both acrylic and oil. His recent works have focused on bold graphic animal images. He takes a fresh and innovative approach to wildlife illustrations and is best known for the energy and movement expressed in his works. Brown will be a junior this coming year.

Located in beautiful Myers Park, Shain Gallery has been on the forefront of the North Carolina art scene since 1998. The gallery represents many leading national and regional artists, and was recently voted yet again the “Best of the Best” for best Charlotte gallery.
