Brunswick County Arts Council Hosts Second Annual Art Show & Sale in Southport, NC

The public, once again, will have the exciting opportunity to view art works by local and surrounding artists when the Brunswick Arts Council along with the Associated Artists of Southport, the Oak Island Art Guild and the Waterway Art Association present their second art show and sale Sept. 10 - 22. The success of the first art show and sale last year has culminated in becoming an annual event. This event will be held at the Franklin Square Gallery located at 130 East West Street in the historic city of Southport, NC. The show is free and open to the public. Artists will receive 100% of the sale price.

The art exhibit will be judged by a noted art and education historian, Ann Brennan, who holds a most prestigious position as curator of the St. John's Museum in Wilmington, NC. Prizes will be awarded at the reception.

This event is supported, by the Brunswick County Arts Council with funds from
the Grassroots Program, an agency of the North Carolina Arts Council, a state agency.
