Arts Center in Asheboro, NC, Features Students of Pat Brower

Paintings by students of Patricia Brower will fill the Main Gallery of the Moring Arts Center in Asheboro, NC, from Sept. 1 - 30, 2004.

According to Bettina Hunter, President of the Randolph Arts Guild and a Brower student herself, "Pat Brower has been the Art Instructor at Randolph Community College over 25 years. Her background includes a degree from Greensboro College in Art, a Masters from the University of NC at Greensboro and six years of teaching art for Greensboro City Schools. Brower has said that she enjoys coming to class to teach probably more than the students enjoy coming to learn. Art is really her life!"

Brower's students have captured numerous awards and honors in Triad area shows. The group is diverse in age but they all benefit from Pat's tutelage and each other. The show will be a sprightly mix of florals, landscapes, and still lifes.
