Shain Gallery in Charlotte, NC, Introduces New Artists

Shain Gallery in Charlotte, NC, will present Introductions, a show introducing five new artists to the gallery. This show features Kelley Brugh, Karen Hollingsworth, Lynn Johnson, Sydney Light and Adele Sypesteyn. Each artist will show a collection of new work from Sept. 13 through Oct. 3, 2013. A reception will be held on Sept. 13, 2013, from 6-8:30pm.

Kelly Brugh is a young artist out of Charlotte. She is currently a teacher with Andy Braitman. Karen Hollingsworth is a realist out of Atlanta, GA, known for her window scenes and birds. Lynn Johnson is from Atlanta, and specializes in large and loose florals. Sydney Light is a painter based in New York. She is known for her small, feminine still life paintings. Adele Sypesteyn is originally from New Orleans, but now lives in Los Angeles. She is an abstract painter.

Located in beautiful Myers Park, Shain Gallery has been on the forefront of the North Carolina art scene since 1998. The gallery represents many leading national and regional artists, and recently won the “Best of the Best Award” for best Charlotte gallery.
