Asheville Gallery of Art to Showcase Work of Area Art Students

The Asheville Gallery of Art, located in Asheville, NC, will be hosting several exhibits of works by advanced art students from Warren Wilson College and the University of North Carolina at Asheville.

Works by students from Warren Wilson College will be featured in Jan., while works by students from UNC-Asheville will be featured during the month of Feb.

"For many students the Asheville Gallery of Art's annual Emerging Artist Exhibit is an important first opportunity to exhibit off-campus," said Sandra Brugh Moore, president of AGA. "This will be the fifth year of AGA Emerging Artists Exhibit, and Asheville art lovers have come to count on each year's work for excitement as well as enjoyment," she added.

Asheville Gallery of Art is a cooperative gallery representing more than 20 Western North Carolina artists.
